It's getting to be that time: what are the hot Christmas toys this year? You know that they'll be on Santa's list! But here's a hint; since they are so hot, buy as early as you can to avoid disappointing the little ones.

What are the Hot Christmas Toys This Year?

It's strange, but Silly Bandz have risen to the top of the list for this year.  Yes, rubber bands in various shapes and colors.  The good thing -- they are inexpensive so you can get loads of them.

Once again the Zhu Zhu Pets are high up on the most-wanted toy list.  While there were only 4 of the hamsters last year, this year the family has grown and grown and grown. And of course, there are even more accessories available, too.

Bakugan is next on the list. It's a game that involves balls, cards and action figures. There are also Bakugan games for Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Just like our friends the Zhu Zhu pets, Bakugan has accessories, such as launchers, galore. Oh, and the most-wanted of the Bakugan action figures? It's Bakugan 7 in 1 Maxus Dragonoid.

The movie was a hit for the fans, and Transformers action figures and toys are a big hit for the kids this year. Between Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Sideswipe, Soundwave and Megatron, they have the Transformers pretty much sewn up. But don't forget there still are others available!

Puzzles are high on this year's list, both two-dimensional and three-dimensional.  Bananagrams, Neocube and magnetic puzzles are hot!

The more things change, the more they stay the same, at least when it comes to Star Wars Lego toys. High up on the list is LEGO Star Wars The Battle of Endor (8038).

All Aboard!  The Thomas & Friends wooden railway is perrenial, but has also made it to the most-wanted list for this Christmas.
